90’s Baby. Performed May 17th, 2024

This was my first time expressing my poetry publicly. I truly believe that some poems are meant to be heard. I found my voice even more so than before on this night. I was scared, nervous, anxious and excited. Though I feel like such a different person now (Sept. 1, 2025) these words still hit. It’s still my story.
