Groundin' ‘N Gigin is a blend of two practices that have been essential to my healing:

Grounding—being barefoot on the earth, in the grass, at the ocean, in the sand.
Gigin—dancing. Moving. Letting my body speak.

As someone drawn to quiet forms of creativity, dancing in public parks started to feel more performative than purposeful. I began to rush through it rather than enjoying the entire creative process. So I pivoted. I know that once a piece is done…it’s done. I love the entire creative process from hearing the song, creating the mix, feeling it and coming up with the choreography, dancing to it, etc. Thats where the juice is, the life is, the light is! Thats what matters so thats what I put more of my attention to, rather than the product itself.

Now, I follow what feels right. If I feel like dancing in the park, I do.
If I’m called to book a studio, I do that too. It’s rhythm led by intuition, not expectation.
